September Wrap Up | Blogtober
Since it’s now October (how?!) I thought it would be a good idea to do a wrap up of September! I usually only do wrap ups of what I’ve read, but I see a lot of people doing wrap ups of posts they’ve written and others they’ve enjoyed, so I will be giving that a whirl too!
Books I read in September
Okay so I only read 3 books in September, but that’s 3 more than I read in August! Am I coming out of my slump? I THINK SO,

So me and my boyfriend have been listening to audiobooks before we go to sleep for about a year. It’s SO GOOD, and I highly recommend doing this. ANYWAY, we listened to all the Harry Potter books then moved onto Artemis Fowl. I’ve read a few of these when I was younger and they’re his FAVOURITE books, so we’ve been listening to them. We listened to the Time Paradox this month and I really enjoyed it. I feel like Artemis has really grown as a character and seeing him in contrast to his younger self it’s even more apparent.
Really enjoyed this one!

So I haven’t been sleeping very well, and I hate wasting that time so I picked up a couple of books and read through the night! One of those was Eve of Man! My full review is here. I really enjoyed this, though the cliffhanger ending annoyed me NO END. Cannot WAIT for the next one.

Another one of my nighttime reads was Lifelike by Jay Kristoff. It’s been on my TBR for ages and I finally got to read it! I really enjoyed it though the ending THREW ME. I’m so interested to see how events transpire in the next book! My review will be coming soon.

I really love the new graphic, Jenn! That little sleeping fox is adorable.
I finally read Twelve Kings by Bradley Beaulieu this month, and really enjoyed it, although it felt like the first book in a series. Really hoping that the pacing evens out a little in the next couple of books.

Did you see that Eoin Colfer is coming out with a spinoff of his Artemis Fowl books called The Fowl Twins? I was so excited to see it! I loved those books when I was younger too, I’d love to re-read them.
