Are You Ready for Sweater Weather? The Autumn Tag
Hi friends! I have been READY for Autumn for months, summer just isn’t for me, so I’m SO EXCITED IT’S HERE. I actually wrote this post last year but never got around to posting it, so here it is! The Autumn Tag!
For me, I love getting cosy in the Autumn, being able to have my curly hair down without getting too warm, wearing scarves and cardigans… I’M SO EXCITED. So I made this tag based off of some of my favourite Autumn things!
Now let’s get on to the Autumn Tag!
Rules: Answer the questions, link back to the creator (me) and tag other people!
1. Hot Chocolate – what is your comfort book?
I mean it sounds super obvious, but I think Harry Potter is one of my ultimate comfort books. Though saying that, I love the Assassins Apprentice by Robin Hobb, I’ve read it so many times, and I’m feeling the itch to read it again.
To be honest re-reading any book I’ve already read before feels like a comfort book to me.
2. Pumpkin Carving – what is your favourite creative outlet?
Which one? Haha. I feel like most of you know that I have my bookish shop, Literary Galaxy, I also do Graphic Designs for people, which let’s me draw. I also make my own graphics for my blog. Also Bullet Journaling is another creative outlet for me. It let’s me be creative whilst also being organised!
If you haven’t tried bullet journalling before I highly recommend it!
3. Falling Leaves – changes that appear bad but you secretly love?
This one is a bit ambiguous, it can refer to your life or fictional changes in books & movies!
For me… losing a job could seem bad (I mean generally is bad), but it allows you to find something better!
In terms of fiction, I think hate to love applies. I love tense relationships that build despite adversity!
4. Pumpkin Spiced Latte – something you love that others tend to judge
In some circles – reading I guess? People find me weird for being obsessed with books…
Okay a real one. The Rasmus! They’re a band I have loved for 15 years and people always laugh at me when I tell them that, but I just love them. It’s actually where the Ly in my username came from – that’s a long story that I may share one day!
5. Bonfire Night – what makes you explode with joy?
Cuddling up with a good book on a cold wintery evening, or watching a film cuddled up to my other half with my pup lying with us, it honestly makes me so happy.
In Gilmore Girls when Luke tells Lorelai that he likes her, omg that bit gets me EVERY TIME. It makes my heart pitter patter <3
6. Fright Night – favourite scary book or film
Okay I’m going to go a bit off here because I don’t really find books or films actually scary BUT I recently played a game, Man of Medan, and I actually SCREAMED it freaked me out so much. So that’s now the answer to this!
An actual book that creeped me out was The Creeper Man by Dawn Kurtagich!
7. Halloween candy – favourite thing to eat
These days I’m on keto so I can’t eat carbs anymore, but one of my favourite keto treats is orange and almond dark chocolate! I’m allowed a square every now and then and it’s SO DELICIOUS! It also makes me feel all christmassy <3
8. Scarves – your autumn ‘must have’ accessory
It might be obvious but my favourite accessory for the autumn is scarves! I love them. I have so many of them that I never have time to wear, but I just love how comfy they feel.
When you walk through a dark town with the fairy lights and a scarf wrapped around your face, hot drink in your hands? Perfect.
9. Fire – a book or film that burns your soul
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I love it so much, it amazes me every time I read it, and I can’t wait for the next one… hoping it ever comes out haha!
10. Toffee apples – a book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside
Film – Marly and Me. Need I say more?!
Book – Station Eleven. Now this isn’t a bad thing, I thought it was more about an apocalypse happening and the virus spreading, but it’s more how they deal with things years later and it is very character driven. I really enjoyed it in the end, even if at first I was a little sad that I had gotten it wrong!
That’s it for the Autumn Tag! I hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget to share it and try it yourself!

Oooh I’ll definitely be doing this!!
Yay! I can’t wait to see it 💜
This is such a lovely cozy tag! <3 Mind if I try it as well, even though I'm not tagged? I'm so glad to hear your keto diet is doing well, unfortunately I can't try it myself but I have tried some recipes for dinner and it was delicious <3
Of course! I’d love for you to do it 💜💜
Ohhh this tag is so perfect!!! I’m totally gonne do it!!
Seriously, when is Rothfuss going to give us the next book?! I read the series like ten years ago and I never dreamed it would be so long of a wait to the next one. Do you think he’s trying to outdo George RR Martin? 😋 Love the creativity of the questions!
Thank you!
Yeah it’s been since before I went to uni I think for me 😱 the LONGEST time.
Yay I can’t wait to see what you post!
This is such a cute tag!!!
Thank you 😘
This tag is so perfect!
Have you looked at Keto treats/desserts? We have them all the time – our most used one is the Peanut Butter mug cake but we just made a salted caramel mousse that is 💯💯💯💯 Team waiting for Rothfuss to finish the third book!
Can’t wait to take part in this one, thank you for the tag Jenn!
What a lovely tag! I’ll absolutely have to agree on Harry Potter as a comfort read! <3 I'm not on a Keto diet, but I've had some friends who were before, and they always knew how to bake the most amazing keto-friendly desserts! One of my favorites were these lemon cookies!
