March Book Wrap Up | 2018
Okay so who told March I was ready for it to be over?! AHHH! Such a busy month and not enough reading for my liking. I finished 2 books and an audiobook – so not completely dire… as I’ve mentioned I’ve been busy planning the launch of Literary Galaxy, my bookish gift shop! However I’m going to step the game up this month by writing a post EVERY DAY (Now it’s written down I have to do it right?!
Funny I’ve just had a brief exchange with Mel Salisbury on Twitter about how she hates the use of exclamation points… and I talked about how I can’t resist using them. Case in point ^

Books I finished in March
This Shattered World (Starbound, #2) by Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner
on December 23rd 2014
Pages: 390
Goodreads
The second installment in the epic Starbound trilogy introduces a new pair of star-crossed lovers on two sides of a bloody war.
Jubilee Chase and Flynn Cormac should never have met.
Lee is captain of the forces sent to Avon to crush the terraformed planet's rebellious colonists, but she has her own reasons for hating the insurgents.
Rebellion is in Flynn's blood. Terraforming corporations make their fortune by recruiting colonists to make the inhospitable planets livable, with the promise of a better life for their children. But they never fulfilled their promise on Avon, and decades later, Flynn is leading the rebellion.
Desperate for any advantage in a bloody and unrelentingly war, Flynn does the only thing that makes sense when he and Lee cross paths: he returns to base with her as prisoner. But as his fellow rebels prepare to execute this tough-talking girl with nerves of steel, Flynn makes another choice that will change him forever. He and Lee escape the rebel base together, caught between two sides of a senseless war.
I listened to This Shattered World on audible and honestly – I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The production is so well put together. The whole series is so good. This one had more of a scary element to it too – I got a bit creeped out at times! You need to check this series out. Each novel follows different protagonists (which bothered me at first until I got into it) and it’s just… SPACE.

They can’t wait to meet the fandom of mega movie, The Gallows Dance. What they’re not expecting is to be catapulted by freak accident into their favourite world – for real. Fuelled by love, guilt and fear, can the friends put the plot back on track and get out? The fate of the story is in their hands ...

You might not have read much but you read GOOD BOOKS.
My favourite for March is a toss up between Red Sister and Children of Blood and Bone. Both door-stopper length fantasy books but both AMAZING.
Also you have Literary Galaxy coming up which is SO FREAKING EXCITING I’m so excited for you 🙂

Thank you lovely!!
You know I wasn’t hugely keen on Red Sister! I’m not sure whether it was the narration though on the audiobook. I’m still going to read the next one though!
😘
Maybe it was the audio? I know the narrator makes or breaks it for me, even with a book I know I love.
It could very well have been yes!
I cannot wait for your shop to open!!!!! (I’m going to use all the exclamation points because I’m a rebel)
Your dedication to write a blog post every day is so inspiring! I don’t think I could deal with that – so many posts 😮
Haha the writing a post every day died swiftly… oops! I’m going to try again though, just maybe not in a certain month?
You’ve had such a busy month that reading 2 books is great! Also exclamation points are so difficult not to use! I can’t wait for your shop to open!
Thank you! I don’t feel like it’s great but there we go. I honestly have to moderate my !!! all the time XD
