I was tagged by Icebreaker to do the Books I’ll Probably Never Read Tag! At first I was hesitant to do this as I like to stay away from negativity, then I thought, hey, why does it have to be negative? So here it goes!
A really hyped book you’re not interested in reading?
I just couldn’t get into Nevernight! I read quite a bit before I DNF it. I may try again at some point but for now there are SO MANY amazing books to read that I really just can’t justify reading books I’m not 100% into. I love the author, he is such a presence on Twitter and I’ve enjoyed other works of his, so I’m gutted I couldn’t get into it to be honest. Nevernight seemed right up my street too!
A series you won’t start/won’t be finishing?
Nothing against Cassandra Clare or this series, I just don’t think I’ll be reading it. I have the books on my shelf, I’ve heard great things… I just don’t have time to read them! There are so many books I KNOW I want to read, so I just can’t justify reading this, ya know? (pls don’t hate me!)
A classic that you’re just not interested in?
Okay I really don’t know how to answer this one. What is a classic? There are LOTS of books I’m not interested in, but I don’t really care to name them all here haha.
Any genres you never read?
Historical Fiction. I just – nope. Nothing wrong with the genre just not what I like to spend my time on!
A book on your shelves you’ll probably never actually read?
Inkheart has been on my shelf for AGES and I really want to read it, just haven’t had a chance. I feel that I probably won’t get around to it, which is a shame.
Are there any books you just know you won’t be reading? Have you read these? Am I making a huge mistake? ALL THE QUESTIONS.

I won’t shame you for not reading The Mortal Instruments, it’s not really worth it if you ask me. And historical fiction is not really my thing either! Thanks for tagging me, but I think I’ve done this one once before… hmm oh well, a second time can’t hurt haha

I have no desire to read The Mortal Instruments series either! I have the first one, ready and waiting, but it just keeps getting pushed farther and farther down my list because I am a lot more excited about other books! Glad to see I’m not alone!
I think it’s quite common you know. I bought them because of the hype and they were on offer but I regret it now haha
I have the first one, so maybe eventually I’ll try to see what the fuss is about..
