Hi friends!
Sorry today’s post is a bit late. I was trying to do my wrap up of October and November and I read A LOT so it was taking far too long… so instead have my Winter TBR!

All her life, Spensa has dreamed of becoming a pilot. Of proving she's a hero like her father. She made it to the sky, but the truths she learned about her father were crushing.
Spensa is sure there's more to the story. And she's sure that whatever happened to her father in his starship could happen to her. When she made it outside the protective shell of her planet, she heard the stars--and it was terrifying. Everything Spensa has been taught about her world is a lie.
But Spensa also discovered a few other things about herself--and she'll travel to the end of the galaxy to save humankind if she needs to.
Okay I’ve been looking forward to this for SO LONG. I’ve been listening to it on audio and it’s AMAZING. Though I can’t get used to the varied British accents for all the aliens, it’s quite funny actually. ANYWAY the actual book is amazing so far but it’s still on my TBR for the rest of the month.

There's something bad in the water . . .
Lola Nox is the daughter of a celebrated horror filmmaker, and thinks she knows all about Harrow Lake, the setting of his most famous movie.
But when her father is brutally attacked and she's sent there to stay with her reclusive grandmother, she realizes the town is harbouring secrets more horrifying than she could ever have imagined. Not only is this the place where her mother disappeared without a trace, it's a town holding on to a dark past that's even more frightening than her father's movies. As Lola is drawn deeper into the town's grip, she starts to question what's real, what happened to her mother, and whether she'll ever get out of Harrow Lake alive.
I am so so blessed to be friends with t he wonderful Kat Ellis, who gave me a copy of Harrow Lake! I am LOVING it so far. It’s scary and I just can’t wait for it to come out for you guys.

Life in the near future's NOT ALL BAD. We've reversed global warming, and fixed the collapsing bee population. We even created SPACE, a virtual-sensory universe where average guys like Theo Wilson can do almost anything they desire.
But ALMOST ANYTHING isn't enough for some. Every day, normal people are being taken, their emotions harvested - and lives traded - to create death-defying thrills for the rich and twisted.
NOW THEO'S MOTHER HAS DISAPPEARED. And as he follows her breadcrumb trail of clues, he'll come up against the most dangerous SPACE has to offer: vPolice, AI Bots and anarchists - as well as a criminal empire that will KILL TO STOP HIM finding her . .
I was sent this by the publisher, and I’m really looking forward to it! I’m LOVING sci-fi at the moment so this is going to be very welcome.
Infinity Son (Infinity Cycle, #1) by Adam Silvera Published by Simon & Schuster Children's UK on January 14, 2020
Pages: 368
Goodreads
Balancing epic and intensely personal stakes, bestselling author Adam Silvera’s Infinity Son is a gritty, fast-paced adventure about two brothers caught up in a magical war generations in the making.
Growing up in New York, brothers Emil and Brighton always idolized the Spell Walkers—a vigilante group sworn to rid the world of specters. While the Spell Walkers and other celestials are born with powers, specters take them, violently stealing the essence of endangered magical creatures.
Brighton wishes he had a power so he could join the fray. Emil just wants the fighting to stop. The cycle of violence has taken a toll, making it harder for anyone with a power to live peacefully and openly. In this climate of fear, a gang of specters has been growing bolder by the day.
Then, in a brawl after a protest, Emil manifests a power of his own—one that puts him right at the heart of the conflict and sets him up to be the heroic Spell Walker Brighton always wanted to be.
Brotherhood, love, and loyalty will be put to the test, and no one will escape the fight unscathed.
Infinity Son has been on my TBR forever and I’ve been sent a copy, so I will be diving into it this month! I’ve heard mixed things about it, have you read it?

Keep Your Head Down.Don't Get Noticed.Or Else.
I'm Trella. I'm a scrub. A nobody. One of thousands who work the lower levels, keeping Inside clean for the Uppers. I've got one friend, do my job and try to avoid the Pop Cops. So what if I occasionally use the pipes to sneak around the Upper levels? The only neck at risk is my own…until I accidentally start a rebellion and become the go-to girl to lead a revolution.
I LOVE Maria V Snyder, she was the first author I ever really spoke to. I sent her an email over 10 years ago now and she replied, I will always be grateful to her for that. ANYWAY. She’s written a sci-fi so I’M IN!
