The Harry Potter Tag
I was tagged by Laura Jayne at Inklings of an Introvert and Laura Noakes to do the Harry Potter tag, and as a HUGE Harry Potter fan, I was so excited to do this! So, here are the questions.
What house are you in?
I’m Ravenclaw and proud! So when the first pottermore came about, I gamed it so that I was Gryffindor – because I was one of those people that just wanted to be the same as the MC – Harry. So when I did it properly and I was Ravenclaw, I decided to fully embrace it and now I’m actually super happy about it (even if it’s impossible to get Ravenclaw stuff from Primark!)
What is your Patronus?
My patronus is a Weasel, which as an animal I don’t have a particular affinity with. However I went on a writing retreat last year and we dubbed ourselves The Writing Weasels, so I was excited when this ended up being my patronus.
What is your wand?
My wand is “Pear wood with a Phoenix feather core 12 ¾” and Slightly Springy flexibility”. This is apt for me, as I have EDS Hypermobility, it means I have slightly springy flexibility too! Also I tend to fall over a lot so it needs to be able to withstand that.
What would your boggart be?
Anxiety. In the form of huge crowds, friends secretly hating me, annoying people…
What position would you play in quidditch?
I think I’d play Hermione’s position – watching from the crowd! I am not a sporty person haha.
Would you be pure-blood, half-blood, or muggle-born?
Muggle-born for sure. I am the only potterhead in my immediate family…
What job would you want after graduating Hogwarts?
Okay so I always wanted to be an Auror (the whole doing the same thing as Harry I mentioned before). Realistically I’d probably be in some sort of marketing of magical goods – or teaching some internet stuff at Hogwarts!
Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?
Invisibility cloak for sure. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for so many reasons – see places you normally can’t see – also I’m so nosy I’d love to find out some secrets… MUAHAHA.
Favourite Book and Least Favourite Book?
Goblet of fire was always a favourite for me. I can’t even tell you why I just really enjoyed it – maybe it’s because it was the first huge one? Least favourite has to be Chamber of Secrets.
Favourite film?
I’m not a huge fan of the films – but I think I really started to enjoy them after Order of the Pheonix.
Least favourite film?
Chamber of secrets again.
Favourite character?
Hermione. I just love her smarts – I love how she doesn’t change for anybody. She keeps the boys straight, but bends the rules herself when she needs to. She’s pretty awesome.
Least favourite/most hated character?
Umbridge. Oh my god she just makes me angry in ALL the ways.
Favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
I think favourite has to be Mcgonagall. I mean she can turn into a cat, which is pretty awesome.
Least favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
Umbridge again. Obviously.
Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?
Nope. I just don’t. I love the books they really sing to my soul. I guess the only thing I can say is that I don’t really like the movies…
