Authors I’d love to meet | Top Ten Tuesday | Blogtober
Hi friends! Today’s Blogtober post is also a Top Ten Tuesday post! This week though I’ll actually try and do ten things seeing as I haven’t managed to do that yet.
I’ve been so fortunate to have met a lot of authors I love and admire, but there are still more I’d love to meet and here are some of them, in no particular order.
Authors I’d Love to Meet
Robin Hobb is one of those authors I’ve been obsessed with since I was young. She has given me so much inspiration for my own novels too. I wouldn’t even know what to say if I met her.
Terry Brooks is another like Robin Hobb, I’ve been a fan for a long long time. His books are amazing, and I still haven’t read them all (I feel like a bad fan). I definitely want to do a reread one day and read them all from start to finish!
Patrick Rothfuss is someone I’m obsessed with! I have loved him for at least 10 years and AHH I’d die if I met him. We’ve actually spoken a few times ish on his blog (claim to fame right there) so I think we’re besties, right?
I love the Night Angel Trilogy and have read it a few times, I’d love to meet Brent and chat to him about his amazing series!
I mean, duh.
I love Emily so much, she’s so cool and just – she’s an inspiration. Her writing is so compelling and well thought out, I’d love to meet her and chat about it. I’ve spoken to her a few times online and she’s so so lovely!
Sabaa would be so awesome to meet! Her novels are amazing and yeah, I’d just love to meet her.
Okay I want to meet Holly so I can make her tell me what happens in the third book honestly! Her brain is genius.
Natasha’s novel, Girls of Paper and Fire, really blew me away! I’d love to meet her and chat about it, she’s so lovely and we’ve chatted a bit on Twitter and I’d love to meet in person.
Sandhya is so so kind and such an awesome writer. It would be so cool to meet her!

This is an amazing list! I would love to meet V.E. Schwab, Jay Kristoff. Laura Thalassa, Holly Black, Deb Harkness, Elise Kova and Laini Taylor (and then travel back in time and meet Mary Shelley and Lord Byron.)

I have actually met Holly Black. I think we have two or three books signed by her. One of our co-bloggers even hung out with her one year at BookExpo.

I want to meet authors too! I have never met any!!! I really, really want to meet Sandhya because she seems so sweet whenever we interact on Twitter. Same with Roshni Chokshi. Ahh, I hope you get to meet them someday.
We totally share Robin Hobb. And Holly Black seems pretty great too.

I have seen JK Rowling on so many of these lists!
I’ve met Holly Black very briefly at NYA and she was lush. And wore a crown. An excellent speaker too!
